Payroll File Reporter is Not Spawned When Run Check Writer(XML) And Deposit Advice(XML) After Applying 2023 Year End Phase 1 Patch and No PDF Output. (Doc ID 2993111.1)

Symptoms

After applying 2023 Year End Phase 1 Patch the Check Writer (XML) and Deposit Advice (XML) completed but when payroll users click on view output , the PDF output is not available.

and there is no Payroll file reporter spawned from the main request.

When run  Check writer (XML)  and setting RUN_XDO& PRINT_FILES To N , N  the Checkwriter completes successfully but only XML output.

When Run Check Writer(XML) after set setting RUN_XDO& PRINT_FILES To  Y , it errors and no PDF output.

This is when using Windows platform.

STEPS

1. Applied 2023 Year End Phase 1 Patch 35840000.

2. US HRMS Manager >other Definition > action parameters

set RUN_XDO& PRINT_FILES set to Y - 

3. US HRMS Manage >submit request >Submit  Check Writer(XML) , then Payroll file reporter is not spawned and there is an error in the log file of the request.

4. if set RUN_XDO& PRINT_FILES set to N, N .XML output produced  and no PDF .

Changes

 Applied 2023 Year End Phase 1 Patch 35840000.
