Error On Material Issue Open Transaction Interface: 'WIP_ENTITY_TYPE' (Doc ID 299705.1)

Symptoms

The user is reporting errors when trying to process WIP component issue transaction for eAM work order. The work order needs to allow the material issue to use a bar-code system.

The customer is using the material transaction open interface, but the error appears as follows:
Error Code: WIP_ENTITY_TYPE
Error Explanation: Unable to process background transactions for EAM Work Orders.


Steps:
----------
- Create a WO form eAM module
- Assign from WO the required material
- The bar-code scaner read the bar code label
- The bar-code application populate the MTL_TRANSACTION_INTERFACE table with
the material information
