Goal

After upgrading from R12.1.3 to R12.2, E-Business Suite (EBS) target is discovered in Enterprise manager 13c with plugin Application Management Pack (AMP) version 13.4.1.0.0.
False alerts/email are sent as patch file system is down, post completion of ADOP patching cycle.

How to properly blackout the EBS patch file system ?
Does EBS R12.2 have any internal mechanism where it knows the patch file system should not be sending any alert?
