patchEccFiles.pl Script Execution To Import ECC Applications Fails With "This File Is Not Eligible For Import" Error (Doc ID 3001505.1)

Symptoms

After Installing Enterprise Command Center (ECC) V10 and performing the import of the Applications using the patchEccFiles.pl script, the import fails with the following error in the import.log:

2024-01-22 08:43:03 INFO o.e.w.c.user.ExportImportController - Extracting: EBS_[app_name]_[timestamp].json
2024-01-22 08:43:03 INFO o.e.s.impl.ExportImportServiceImpl -  productVersion oracle.ecc.persistence.entities.EntityVersion@[version]
2024-01-22 08:43:03 ERROR o.e.w.c.user.ExportImportController - Exception occured :
oracle.ecc.exeption.ECCException: This file is not eligible for import

The issue can be replicated using the below steps:

1. Perform ECC installation using the latest guide using Doc ID: 2495053.1
2. Log on to the Oracle E-Business Suite server. On that server, source the environment file of your run file system.

cd <EBS_BASE_HOME>
source EBSapps.env run

3. Then, on the Oracle E-Business Suite server, navigate to the $FND_TOP/bin directory and run the patchEccFiles.pl script.

cd $FND_TOP/bin
./patchEccFiles.pl

Changes

Install ECC V10 and apply EBS Patches for V11.
