PAXAADRU: While Adding Value to the Parameter of an AutoAccounting Rule, Error: “This Parameter Is Not Valid for a Function to Which This Rule Is Assigned” (Doc ID 3002367.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add parameter value to the AutoAccounting rule in AutoAccounting rule form, the following error occurs.

This parameter is not valid for a function to which this rule is assigned


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in to Projects Responsibility.

2. Navigate to Setup > AutoAccounting > Rules

3. Create an AutoAccounting rule.

4. Choose Intermediate value as Parameter.

5. Add value to the parameter.

6. Click on Save.

7. Check the error.
