Symptoms

Standard Deduction for March Payroll not calculated in income tax when New Tax Regime is opted.

For public sector payroll income tax calculation rules for Mar should be same as Apr month and employee should get standard deduction in New Tax Regime as per FY 23-24 budget rules.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Navigate to HRMS Manager > Fastpath
2. Run Quickpay for Mar period and Apr period
3. Open View Results > Check SOE
