API gme_api_pub.create_material_txn Does Not Use Lot-Specific UOM Conversion for WIP Issue Transactions (Doc ID 3005906.1)

Symptoms

When using the gme_api_pub.create_material_txn API to create WIP Issues for items that have lot-specific UOM conversions, the lot-specific UOM conversions are not used. Customer is transacting in the secondary UOM, and the primary is being calculated based on the item level conversion. When creating WIP Completions, however, the lot-specific UOM conversion is used.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.

1. Call the gme_api_pub.create_material_txn API, creating a WIP Issue in the secondary UOM for a lot that has a lot-specific UOM conversion (see the Integration Repository within the application for information about how to use the API).
2. Check the primary quantity on the transaction. This can be done from the View Material Transactions screen in Batch Details (Production Supervisor > Batch Details > Inventory> View Material Transactions.
