How to Allow General Ledger Users to Edit and Upload WebAdi Spreadsheets Without Having Desktop Integration (WebADI) Responsibility Assigned? (Doc ID 3007098.1)

Goal

General Ledger (GL) users have standard access to create journals into this module. The same users would need to edit WebADI templates and load journals into GL. The business procedures may not allow to add Desktop Integrator (WebADI) responsibility to these users as their main tasks refer to loading journals into GL. WebADI would be just a tool used to improve the performance of creating such journals.

Without having the Desktop Integrator (WebADI) responsibility attached, any attempt to use the List of Values (LOVs) or upload journals would error, pointing out to access not being granted.

How to achieve that?
