Symptoms

When running PAAPIMP_SI:PRC: Interface Supplier Cost the following error appears in the Supplier Cost Interface Audit report:

Descriptive Flexfield failed validation

If the user tries to query any Descriptive Flex Field (DFF) for Projects in the Descriptive Flexfield Segments form the following error is encountered:

INCONSISTENT DATA EXCEPTION:

DFF NAME:PA_EXPENDITURES _ITEMS_DESC_FLEX

ERROR:PA_EXPENDITURES_ALL IS NOT IN FND_TABLES, OR NO GLOBAL CONTEXT

If the user runs $FND_TOP/sql/afffcdff.sql to do a DFF consistency check the following error was returned:

Rule A.05: DFF base table must exist in FND_TABLES.

 

Steps:
-------
1. Using a Projects responsibility navigate to Other-->Requests--.run
2. Select Name = PRC: Interface Supplier Cost and submit.
