Last updated on APRIL 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Self-Service Human Resources - Version 12.2 HRMS RUP17 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After the MIN/MID/MAX values are updated for the Grade, the Salary Tab under the My Information Self Service function, does not show the correct Grade Mid: value.

Expecting to see correct Grade Mid value under the Salary Tab of My Information Self Service function, this should match to the Midpoint value shown on the Salary page (People form -> Assignment -> Salary button)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.

  1. Navigate to 'XX Super HRMS Manager' responsibility -> Work Structures : Grade -> Grade Rate
  2. Query the Grade and update MIN/MID/MAX value(s) for the Grade and Save (For Example Say with Effective Dates From 01-Jan-2024)
  3. No Salary Change done for the employee only the Range is updated. (Note the last Salary Change was made for the employee was on 01-Jan-2023).
  4. Navigate to People -> Enter and Maintain
  5. Query the Person in the People form.
  6. Click Assignment button -> Click on Salary Button.
  7. Shows correct Midpoint: 999999.99 (Under Grade Salary Limits Section).
  8. Now login as the Employee, Navigate to 'Employee Self-Service' responsibility -> My Information function.
  9. Click on Salary Tab
  10. Shows wrong Grade Mid value 111,111.00 (This should match to Salary page as above value same as Step7 value above)

Note: All 3 values (MIN/MID/MAX) are not showing new values, shows old values under the Salary Tab of Self Service My Information page.
