Symptoms

OAP 7.0 installation fails with Oracle RAC Database


ERROR

Error in  install..log

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Action:Oracle_Analytics_Configuration failed with error:Configure BI Failed with Execution of /u01/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/user_projects/domains/bi/bitools/bin/create_bi_service_instance.sh -d "Default BI Service Instance" -b /u01/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/bi/modules/oracle.oac.edition.application/ee.bar -o weblogic ssi failed with exit value 1

Error in CreateDefaultBIServiceInstance.out
Error: oracle.bi.servicelcm_v2.support.flyway.exception.UnsupportedDatabaseTypeException: oracle.bi.servicelcm_v2.support.flyway.exception.UnsupportedDatabaseTypeException: Cannot connect to provided datasource to obtain the database type.


Steps To Replicate the issue
-----------------------
1. Installed FMW 12.2.1.4
2. Installed OAP 7.0.0.0 as per below doc

3. While configuring domain and RCU and selecting Oracle RAC database, above error was observed
