Offer Association Gets Deleted While Submitting A Claim For Approval Due To A Customization That Changes Claim Owner During Approval (Doc ID 3017615.1)

Symptoms

Offer Association gets deleted while submitting the claim for approval.  Business has implemented a customization calling the Claim public API to change the claim owner when claim is submitted for approval.  When the claim owner is changed, the offer earnings are then removed.

Steps:
1. Trade Management > Claims
2. Create Claim and populate the promotional tab with offer accruals.
3. Submit claim for approval, during approval background process, customization changes claim owner.
5. Claim details screen returns, review the claim promotional tab and notice the amounts have been removed.

 

Changes

 Customization was added to the claim approval background process to change claim owner.
