GLXBDORG: Define Budget Organization Form In R12.2.X Has No Facility To Search By Funding Budget (Doc ID 3017844.1)

Last updated on MAY 10, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading from R11i to R12.2, an issue has been reported with the structure of the 'Find' window of the Budget Organizations form (GLXBDORG). It no longer has the ability to search for a range by Funding Budget.
For cases where large Budget Organizations exist (such as those having ranges of 10,000+ rows) it is an essential business requirement to be able to search for a range by Funding Budget name, otherwise it is impossible to find the particular row needed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Post 12.2 upgrade, under General Ledger responsibility
  2. Budgets > Define > Organization
  3. Query for the Organization
  4. Look for Ranges > Find Account Ranges / Budgetary Control Options
  5. Observe the 11i option to search a range by Funding Budget is missing

Changes

 Upgrade from 11i to r12.2.10
