Symptoms
When attempting to register supplier without Operating Unit (OU) the following error occurs.

Error Details
java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.apps.pos.request.webui.SupplierRequestSharedRNCO.processRequest(SupplierRequestSharedRNCO.java:133)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanHelper.processRequest(OAWebBeanHelper.java:673)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanContainerHelper.processRequest(OAWebBeanContainerHelper.java:283)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.beans.layout.OAMessageComponentLayoutBean.processRequest(OAMessageComponentLayoutBean.java:528)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanHelper.processRequestChildren(OAWebBeanHelper.java:1116)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanHelper.processRequestChildren(OAWebBeanHelper.java:1083)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate Supplier management Administrator responsibility and click on Register New Supplier
2. OU will be automatically populated based on MO: Operating Unit
3. Clear the OU name and Press on Continue
4. Gets the error message:
"You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your system administrator for assistance"
