Datafix to Update the Period End Date in General Ledger, Projects Accounting and Grants Accounting (Doc ID 3019955.1)

Symptoms

Cannot update the General Ledger (GL) Period End Date for Feb-36.

Customer is using also Grants Accounting module.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

a) Using a General Ledger responsibility
1. go to Setup -> Financials -> Calendar -> Accounting.
2. Query the calendar type that needs to be modified.
3. Try to make the necessary period modifications.

b) Using a Project Accounting (PA) responsibility
1. submit the "PRC: Delete PA Periods" concurrent request
