ORA-20001: Incorrect Format For Hours In "HH" Format Unit Of Measure Error Is Displayed in the View Run Messages Form After Running Retropay Enhanced Process (Doc ID 3020027.1)

Symptoms


When trying to run the RetroPay (Enhanced) process, the following error can be seen in the View Run Messages form:

has occurred in table insert_retro_entry at location 4517
Cause: an oracle error has occurred. The failure was reported on table insert_retro_entry at location 4517 with the error text ORA-20001: Incorrect format for Hours in "HH" format unit of measure.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go into the responsibility: HRMS Manager or equivalent.
2. Navigate to View > Request > Submit a New Request > Run Retropay Enhanced process.
3. Navigate to View > Payroll Process Results > search for Payroll Name > Find.
4. Click on Retropay process with Incomplete Status.
5. Go to Assignment Process > Query for records having Status=Error.
6. Go to Message button > open View Run Messages form > Observed above error message displayed.
