Transactions For Lot Controlled Items Missing Lot Transaction Records (Doc ID 302026.1)

Symptoms

Find pending WIP component issue transactions in MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP with no related record in the LOT transaction table (MTL_TRANSACTION_LOTS_TEMP).

Items are lot controlled so would expect a lot number to be populated but it is NOT.

See transactions in the pending transactions form but no lot numbers or quantities on the associated lot form.

Resubmitting the records does not process them and no errors are shown in the table's error columns.

The following SQL shows that records exist in the pending transaction table that have no related lot transaction record even though the item's lot control is enabled:
