Symptoms
In layout editor, after changing the column width in Properties > Appearance > Width for a certain column, it is no longer possible to change its width by means of clicking and dragging its right edge with the mouse.
The new width of the column in layout editor's GUI reflects the change done in the property, but its right vertical edge is not selectable at the new position. The mouse has to be moved in the direction of its old position and then the old vertical edge appears and is selectable. Clicking then on the
"ghost" vertical edge will cause it to sync with the new and intended position.
Steps:
1. Open any report.
2. Edit report layout.
3. Select the first column.
4. In the Properties pane, change the Width from 100 to 200 and press Enter.
5. The first column is resized to 200 but it is not possible anymore to resize any of the columns using the mouse by dragging the column border.
6. If you hover over the old border of the first column at 100px, it will appear and if you click on it, the column resizing with the mouse starts working again.
