ZA: Wrong Value for Employee and Employer UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) Contribution Code 4141 Is Displayed on the Employee Income Tax Certificate After Running IRP5 Tax Certificates Concurrent Program (Doc ID 3026701.1)

Symptoms

After running 'IRP5 Tax Certificates' concurrent program, when checking the Tax Certificate it has been found that the Employee and Employer UIF Contribution (Code 4141) value is wrongly shown as '0.00' for employee(s) terminated in previous tax year.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under ZA HRMS Manager Responsibility or equivalent.

2.  Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run as bellow:
   I. 'Payroll Run ZA' concurrent program for August payroll period.
   II. 'Tax Year End Data Validation and Preprocess' concurrent program for August payroll period.
               - 'Tax Certificate Preprocess' concurrent program is automatically spawned.
               - 'Create Tax Year End Exception Log' concurrent program is automatically spawned.

   III. 'IRP5 Tax Certificates' concurrent program for the above tax certificate preprocess (August payroll period).

3. Click on 'View Output' button for the 'IRP5 Tax Certificates' process and observe that 'Code 4141' value is '0' (zero) on the Tax Certificate for employee(s) terminated in previous tax year.
