Symptoms

An Information Element has been created and in the associated element link, the 'Costed' and 'Transfer to GL' options are selected.  Also under Input Values, 'Pay Value' is flagged to be costed.  After running the Payroll process and the Costing process, user reviews the costing results and find the element is not costed.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

From XX HRMS Manager responsibility or equivalent:

  1. Run Payroll Process
Navigation: Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request
  2. Run Costing process
Navigation: Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request
  3. Check Costing run results
Navigation: View > Payroll Process Results > select Costing Process > Assignment Processes > select assignment > Costing button > select Date > review results and see none for the information element.
