Error When Adding Counter Group To An Item Instance

Symptoms
When trying to select a Counter Group whiled Adding a Counter in the Search Product Page, getting the below error:

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Login to Oracle Apps
2. R) Oracle CMRO -> Configuration -> Unit Configuration -> Search Product
3. Select 'Personalize'. The advanced Item Search page is displayed.
4. Search for an Item instance to add a counter group counter.
5. Select counters then Go. Item instance counters are displayed.
6. Select add counter. The add counter page is displayed. Enter a Counter Group and select go. Error occurs 'Invalid Value' is returned.
