E-BIP/OAP: Scheduled Report With Bursting Fails With Error "The Number Of Output Exceeds Max Bursting Output Limits" (Doc ID 3029254.1)

Symptoms

In BI Publisher / Oracle Analytics Publisher, after scheduling a Report with a bursting definition, the Report Job fails and the following error is displayed in the Consolidated Diagnostic log: oracle.xdo.XDOException: The number of output exceeds max bursting output limits

Steps:

  1. Create a Data Model with a Bursting definition
  2. Create a Report based on the above Data Model
  3. Schedule the Report with the Bursting definition and enable the Consolidated Diagnostic log
  4. In Report Job History, verify the Job has failed
  5. Download the log and verify it contains error: oracle.xdo.XDOException: The number of output exceeds max bursting output limits
