Symptoms

After applying Patch R12.ATG_PF.C.delta.12, use an English login to the Application and attempt to search for a project. The 'Simple Search' option in the 'Project List' page no longer works; clicking on the dedicated button does nothing, showing instead 'No search conducted'. Use a foreign language login (any language) and observe the 'Search' looks for Person 'Myself' and errors on the page:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Using an English login and a Projects Super User responsibility > Project List
2. The 'Project List' page opens
3. Click on 'Simple Search'
4. Nothing happens. 'No search conducted' is shown on the page
5. Log out and log in using a foreign language login (such as French, Dutch, etc)
6. Attempt to perform a search, see the 'Person' field uses 'Myself' for the search and displays an error
