Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator - Version 12.2.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The following issue is happening after applying patch 35715785:R12.BNE.C.
After creating a new template a sheet is added to the workbook the following error is seen as an Excel VBA pop up message when going back to the template sheet by selecting its tab, the template sheet and it is no longer usable:

error popup box:
Microsoft Visual Basic
Run-Time Error '91': Object variable or With block Variable not set

STEPS TO REPLICATE
-----------------------------
1) Using a responsibility that has access to create a WebADI template.
2) Create a new Excel template for data entry.
3) After the Excel template is created, add a sheet to it for data formatting, etc.
4) Navigate back to the Template sheet and the error is seen.

This is occurring using Excel 2016
The following solutions have been applied and issue is still seen:
Runtime Error 91 When Doing When Trying To Create Journals In Webadi (Doc ID 1301604.1)
Receive Run-Time Error 91 In Excel 2010 When Using Create Document (Doc ID 1462017.1)
Workaround that is being used is to do the data formatting in a different Excel workbook, then copying into the template without adding a new sheet to the workbook.
