Symptoms

When attempting to copy service request,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

The error message says 'java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01489: result of string concatenation is too long'
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.SQLStmtException: JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation. Statement: SELECT * FROM (SELECT /*+ opt_param('_optimizer_cost_based_transformation' 'off') */ data_type, log_date date1,


STEPS
-----------------------
1. Customer Support Specialist->Agent Dashboard
2. Query SR and copy > Apply
3. There is some concatenation issue. Error on page.
4. Remove any one attribute and save, page saves without error.
