Payroll Process Results Form is Sometimes Displaying the Wrong Period for Some Payroll Actions (Doc ID 3039010.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After processing payroll and post-payroll actions, the Payroll Process Results form is displaying the wrong period for some of the post-processes.

Example:

Payroll has been run for Period 2 2025, effective July 18, 2024.  Payroll Archive (Magnetic Report) and NACHA (Magnetic Transfer) have both been run using the effective date of July 18, 2024, but they are showing as Period 3 in Payroll Process Results instead of Period 2.

The issue can be reproduced at will in the US HRMS Manager responsibility.

Steps, using the example above:

1. Run Payroll for Period 2 2025 (18-JUL-2024)
Navigate: Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request

2. Run post-processes, such as Pre-Payments, Payroll Archive, NACHA using effective date 18-JUL-2024.
Navigate: Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request

3. View Payroll Process Results and see incorrect period number (e.g. Period 3 2025)
    View > Payroll Process Results
