Depot Repair: Material Quantity Defaulted in Job Should Reflect the Job Quantity Instead of Service Order Quantity
(Doc ID 3048088.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Depot Repair - Version 12.2.6 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In Depot Repair workbench, after creating the job, while adding material quantity to the job, the service order quantity is defaulted instead of job quantity.
The issue can be reproduced with following steps:
1. Log in with Depot Repair Manager responsibility.
2. Create a Service Order with qty N for a non-IB, non-serialized item, where N > 1.
3. In the Jobs tab, create N jobs with Job Qty 1 for each.
4. In Technician Portal, query the service order. Since Profile 'CSD: Default Service Order Item as Material on Job' is set to 'Yes', the first job has material defaulted to the job. The Material Qty for the first job = N (repair order qty) instead of 1 (job qty).
