Unable To Create Work Orders From Maintenance Workbench , Error Message : Activity Cause (XXX) Is Invalid (Doc ID 3048589.1)

Symptoms

When using the EAM Maintenance Workbench and trying to create work order from PM Schedules, following error found from convertwo2.log

convertwo2.log showing debugging messages such as:

Entity Id: WO
Entity Index: 1
Message: Activity Cause (XXX) is invalid.
Entity Id: WO
Entity Index: 1
Message: The Work Order YYYY received an error status since a severe error occurred in the work order while performing attribute validations.
Entity Id: WO
Entity Index: 61
Message: The entity with header id (61) generated the following error / errors.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Login into Enterprise Asset Management responsibility
2.Work Order Planning > Maintenance Workbench > Asset Number > Launch > Forecast Workbench > All Assets > Select Asset > Enter Horizon > Run > Select checkbox > Click Implement
3.View above message from convertwo2.log
