Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When processing any life event for an employee whose monthly salary is greater than 14999, why is the system not capping the compensation derived factor to a max value of 14999?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to XX Super HRMS Manager responsibility.
2. Navigate to People > Benefits Service Center.
3. Query an employee whose monthly salary is greater than 14999 say 20000.
4. Navigate to View Person Life Events form.
5. Add an adhoc life event for the person and process it.
6. Navigate to the Non Flex Enrollment Form.
7. Notice that rate value for the compensation object which used this derived factor is calculated based on the actual monthly salary of 20000 instead of capping it at 14999.
