Original Receipt Date Is Lost For The On-Hand Quantity After Performing A Cost Group Transfer Transaction (Doc ID 3049349.1)

Symptoms

Find that Original Receipt Date for On-hand Quantity is lost when the Cost Group transfer transaction is performed with the profile option INV: FIFO for Original Receipt Date set to Yes. 


Steps:

1. Choose Warehouse Manager Responsibility
2. Click on Edit > Preferences > Profiles
3. Make sure that the profile option INV: FIFO for Original Receipt Date has a Default Value set to Yes
4. Navigate to Inquiry > Material Workbench
5. Choose the desired organization
6. Choose the Item
7. Hit Find
8. Click on Tools > Cost Group Transfer
9. Hit Save
10. Note that the ORIG_DATE_RECEIVED is updated with the latest transaction date on MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES_DETAIL table.
