GLLEZLSRS : Program Import Journals Cannot Use All Group ID Option (Doc ID 316515.1)

Symptoms

When submitting  'Program- Import Journals' (GLLEZLSRS) there is no parameter available to select All Groups IDs.  The only available options are to enter a specific Group ID number or leave it null.  Leaving it null will cause Journal Import to only select data from the GL_INTERFACE table with a null Group ID.

This creates a problem when trying to use this program to schedule imports from Oracle subledgers as they usually populate the Group ID field in the GL_INTERFACE table.  If the Group ID parameter is left blank and the program is submitted to import from a subledger the following warning may be seen:

If no GROUP_ID is specified, then only data with no GROUP_ID will be retrieved.   Note that most data from the Oracle sub-ledgers has a GROUP_ID, and will not be retrieved if no GROUP_ID is specified.

Changes

The GLLEZLSRS program is new to 11.5.10.
