E-Business Suite Applications Manager, RapidClone issues

 

 

When running adcfgclone on DBTier the following errors occur:

ERROR
RC-00110: Fatal: Error occurred while relinking of ApplyDBTechStack
- 50% completed
ERROR while running Apply...
ERROR: Failed to execute adclone.pl

StackTrace:
java.lang.Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException
        at oracle.apps.ad.clone.ApplyDBTechStack.runRelinkOH(ApplyDBTechStack.java:779)
        at oracle.apps.ad.clone.ApplyDBTechStack.<init>(ApplyDBTechStack.java:361)
        at oracle.apps.ad.clone.ApplyDBTier.<init>(ApplyDBTier.java:126)
        at java.lang.reflect.Constructor.newInstance(Native Method)
        at oracle.apps.ad.clone.util.CloneProcessor.run(CloneProcessor.java:68)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) 

 

A close examination of the Rapidclone log file, ApplyDBTechStack<time>.log or ApplyDBTier<time>.log also shows a failure for adlnkoh.sh. This shell script is responsible for the relinking of the Oracle Home it resides in during installations and clones.
