How is DATE_EARNED Populated For ACTION_TYPES in ('M','C') in the PAY_PAYROLL_ACTIONS Table? (Doc ID 361938.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 18, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When running a payroll process, such as NACHA or Costing the Date_Earned column is  populated with a date that is one week in the future of the effective_date.

Example:
When ran last weeks costing on Monday. The effective_date of the pay_payroll_action costing record is 10-feb-2006 and the date_earned is 16-feb-2006. We cannot transfer the person because of the date_earned column  having the 16-feb date. Message is future assignment_action exits. To get around the problem the  date_earned needs to be changed to 10-feb 2006.

The question is how is the date_earned field populated for action_types in ('M','C')?
