Partial Allocation Does Not Result In Split Line On Sales Order Form. (Doc ID 391183.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 11.5.10.0 to 11.5.10.3 [Release 11.5.10]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Find that performing a manual partial allocation from OPM Inventory doesn't result in the splitting of order line into two lines on the sales order form in Order Management. After the manual partial allocation, the line split does appear correctly on the Shipping Transaction form where one line goes to a status of 'Backordered' and the second line shows a status of 'Staged/Pick Confirmed'. However, on the sales order form, there is only one line showing a status of 'Picked Partial'. This prevents the user from progressing the line or cancel it.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that the manual allocation process from OPM Inventory results in the sales order form showing two lines with status of Backorder and Picked instead of one line showing a status of Picked Partial.
