This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
You are performing deletion operation and trying to move to different contact extra information type
and choosing "No" as the question of "Do you want to save the changes you have made?".
Then, although you chose "No", the record is deleted.
Navigate path:
People -> Enter and Maintain -> (B)Others -> Contact -> (B)Extra Information
