How to Setup a Custom QA Check for Contracts (Doc ID 421549.1)

Goal

The purpose of the seeded QA Checks, with a few exceptions, are basically limited to verifying that data in a Contract is entered so that the contract module's standard functionality will work correctly.

That standard functionality depends on the Contracts module being used.  One example would be the seeded OKS Checks that verify that the Billing Schedules are created so that billing can be done correctly in Service Contracts.

To meet user requirements that are not met with the seeded QA Checks, custom QA Checks must be defined. To verify data integrity of the contracts data, the seeded QA Check will always be run in addition to the custom QA check. The steps below outline how to define a custom QA Check and then use that in Contracts.
