Symptoms
When attempting to submit Payroll or QuickPay for an employee, the following error occurs and is seen in the log file:
APP-PAY-06938: An earlier unsuccessful action exists for this Assignment. This action may have Errored or be Marked for Retry. Please retry the assignment action before proceeding.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
From XX HRMS Manager or equivalent responsibility:
Run Payroll Run concurrent process or QuickPay for employee
