Symptoms
On 11.5.10.2 :
When attempting to close the period the following error occurs:
ERROR
Actual cost worker completes with warning.
"CSTPACIR:10ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL
into("WIP"."WIP_REQ_OPERATION_COST_DETAILS"."OPERATION_SEQ_NUM")".
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility : Cost Management Responsibility
2. Wait for Cost Manager to run. Cost Manager completes normally.
3. Navigation: Inventory -> Material Transactions:
4. Check Material Transactions:
Responsibility: Inventory Super User
5. Transactions -> Material Transactions
Default date from and to: Todays date, Find
6. Lines complete with status Error
7.Check Material Transactions "Location" Tab and "Reason, Reference" Tab
BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot view the costing of the transactions and close the period.
