Upgrading To R12 Created Multiple Ledgers From A Single Set Of Books In 11i (Doc ID 452112.1)

Goal

The Upgrade to R12 created 3 ledgers from the single and original Set of Books in 11.5.9

The original set of books in 11.5.9 was called TEST REPORTING. During the upgrade to R12, TEST
REPORTING was created as one of the primary ledgers, however there were also the following two ledgers:

TEST RE 2 (USD)
TEST RE 2 (JPY)

Would like to understand why these additional ledgers were created.
