Applies to:
Oracle HRMS (US) - Version 11.5.10.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Employees that have an Group Term Life (GTL) Imputed Income element (GTL) and are on Leave or have no Earnings for a pay cycle are processed with the pay run.
This causes the employee portion of the SS/Medicare tax to go in arrears but the employer portion is posted. This causes an out-of-balance condition for SS/Medicare.
- How do we prevent the Imputed Income element from processing in a run without earnings.
