Symptoms

A delete group is created to delete a bill or routing associated with closed WIP job(s). The Delete Item/Bill Information concurrent process (BMCDEL) fails to delete the bill or routing and displays one of the following errors:

   BIL_CON4 - A discrete job exists for this item
   RTG_CON3 - A discrete job references this routing

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Login using the Bills of Material (BOM) responsibility
  2. Navigate: Delete Groups
  3. Add item/alternate combination to a delete group for a bill and/or routing.
  4. Click the Check Group button or Delete Group button.
  5. When the concurrent process completes, click the Errors button to review the errors.
