Why Do Subledger Journals Display A User Rate of 1 in The Journals Enter Form? (Doc ID 577697.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 [Release 11.5.10 to 12.1]
Oracle Financials Accounting Hub - Version 12.0.0 to 12.2.4 [Release 12.0 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Form: GLXJEENT.fmb - Journals Enter
GLLEZL - Journal Import

Goal

Why do subledger journals display a User Rate of 1 instead of the actual conversion rate in the Journals Enter form?

currency_conversion_type from GL_JE_HEADERS table changes after Journal Import, no longer matching subledger's currency exchange type (for example, AP_INVOICES_ALL - exchange_rate_type; AP_AE_LINES_ALL - currency_conversion_type).
