R12: AP_SWEEP_ACCESS_ERROR/Insufficient Access Error Appears Attempting to Sweep From Control Payables Period Form (Doc ID 729104.1)

Symptoms

In R12, AP_SWEEP_ACCESS_ERROR/insufficient access error message appears when users try to run the Unaccounted Transaction Sweep from the Control Payables Period form. 

MESSAGE_NAME MESSAGE_TEXT
AP_SWEEP_ACCESS_ERROR The program cannot be executed due to insufficient access available to the user. Please contact your System administrator and get access to all the Operating Units belonging to this Ledger

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to Control Payables Periods form

Note: Additional Symptom of this issue, the Find Payables Period Box does not open.  Click on the ‘Find’ icon to open the Find Payables Period Box. Selected the Ledger and OU.

2.  Change period status to close, then Tab.

3.  Get message that exceptions exist, click OK

4.  Click Exceptions Button

5.  Click Sweep

6.  Verify Sweep to period, Click Submit and the AP_SWEEP_ACCESS_ERROR message appears.
