Symptoms

When attempting to integrate Oracle Fusion - OBIEE with the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 - Vision instance.

The steps being followed for this task are as per the Guide - Oracle® Fusion Intelligence For E-Business Suite, Implementation Guide for Release 12, Part No. E05295-02
.
As per the above mentioned guide, there is a requirement to set "FND: Oracle Business Intelligence Suite EE base URL" in Applications. Not able to find this profile option in Applications.

You can normally find the profile option by following these steps:
1 Go to the URL to log into Applications and log in as SYSADMIN
2. Select System Administrator responsibility
3. Click the link for System under the Profile section and it will launch the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications. (Note: make sure pop-up blockers are off.) 
4. You should see the 'Find System Profile Values' window.
5. Type %EE base URL% in the Profile text box at the bottom, ensure the show empty profiles option is chosen and then click the Find button
6. The profile option "FND: Oracle Business Intelligence Suite EE base URL" should be returned.

Changes

New Release 12.0.0 install and not an upgrade from 11i.
