Goal
When a user enters a new miscellaneous transaction batch with the 'Reverse Expenditure in a Future Period' flag checked, they are noticing the original positive expenditure item is created in a closed PA period and the negative line is in the future open GL period.
It seems that the use of the reversal in future period functionality disregards the period being open or closed. Since the Reverse in Future Period is actually a net to zero function, would we not care about a period being closed or open for the expenditure item date of the item?
Is this the intended functionality?
