Contract Number Allowed To Be Entered Even When Autonumbering Setup With Allow Manual Unchecked (Doc ID 741487.1)

Symptoms

Business requirements dictate that all Contract Numbers should be automatically generated and that users should not be able to update these values.  Service Contracts Autonumbering setup has been configured with the Allow Manual check box unchecked.  As a results users should not be able to update the Contract Number.  However, when authoring a contract in the Service Contracts Authoring form, the Contract Number field is open for update and allows users to update this value without error.

Expect that the Contract Number field would not be open for update when autonumbering is configured with Allow Manual unchecked.

Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup contracts to use autonumbering with Allow Manual checked.
