Saved Query Definition. Get Error: ORA-00900: invalid SQL (Doc ID 743256.1)

Symptoms

There is a requirement to create saved query definition SQL with "!!" . This is based on OTM
help which states -->"If you want to use SQL functions, such as SUM or MAX then the SQL Find
All must begin with a keyword of "!!". For example, the SQL could appear as "!!select sum(total_weight) from shipment" in order to select the total weight of the shipment."

If you create a saved query with Find All sql beginning with "!!" and then try to execute the saved query under Business Process Automation>> Process Management>> Data Query, the following error will occur -->java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
