Restricting Item Types In The Status Monitor Does Not Work (Doc ID 747815.1)

Have setup the restricted access to some item types in the status monitor by creating a grant, and one have given the grant to a user. However, once in the status monitor, the restriction does not seem to apply, and user is still able to query any item type .
