FORM:FNDLVMLU.FMB - Application Utility Lookups

Symptoms

It is not possible to change Lookup Values (Lookup Code) or add Lookup Values to certain seeded Lookup Types although the Customization level is at User Level. At this level the following actions are suppose to be allowed:

  • Delete of lookup type allowed 
  • Insert of new lookup codes allowed
  • Update of start date, end date, enabled fields allowed
  • Delete of codes allowed
  • Update of tag allowed

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login to the application as SYSADMIN
  2. Responsibility: Application Developer
  3. Function: Application --> Lookups --> Application Object Library
  4. Query on a Lookup Type e.g. ADDRESS_LINES
    --> The form appears in a QUERY_ONLY mode (all fields are greyed out).
Note: Certain application modules such as Human Resources having included the given form function to their own menu so different navigation paths to this form may exist.

  • Oracle E-Business Suite 11:
    • Applied one-off <patch 7259819> 1OFF:7241692:11.5.10.2:11.5.10.2:7025242 Backport: FNDLVMLU: SYSTEM-LEVEL Custom
  • Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12:
    • An upgrade to Oracle E-Business Release 12.0.6 or 12.1.1
    • A fresh installation of an Oracle E-Business Release 12.0.6 or 12.1.1 environment.
