Symptoms
On 11.5.10 in Production:
When attempting to change positions on the Assignment Form (PERWSHRG) for an employee the
following error occurs:
ERROR
APP-PAY-06153: System Error: Procedure pay_us_emp_dt_tax_rules.create_new_loc_rec at Step 2
Cause: The procedure
pay_us_emp_dt_tax_rules.create_new_loc_rec has created an error at Step 2.
Action: Contact your system administrator quoting the procedure
pay_us_emp_dt_tax_rules.create_new_loc_rec and Step 2.
NOTE
A note also get triggered on the Assignment Form (PERWSHRG)
"Tax Percentage Records Exist. Change To Location Will Override Future Tax Percentage Records"

2. People --> Enter and Maintain
3. Query Employee
4. Click on Assignment
5. Change Position from G.0501.00189.001.Firefighter (Captain)/112 to G.0501.00538.001.Firefighter
(Captain)/112
